Terms of Service

This is a plain-language starting point covering LuxSoft's website and all current and future LuxSoft mobile apps. It hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet — if you're relying on this for an app store submission or a specific legal requirement, have it reviewed first.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using LuxSoft's website (luxsoft.dev) or any mobile app published by LuxSoft ("LuxSoft," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use our apps or website.

2. Who we are

LuxSoft is a small, independent software studio. LuxSoft is an operating name; if and when it is formally registered as a business, this section will be updated with the registered entity name and details.

3. Using our apps and website

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our apps and website for their intended purpose. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where the law specifically allows it.
• Use our apps or website for anything illegal or harmful.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our apps, website, or servers.
• Misrepresent your identity when contacting us or submitting feedback.

4. Feedback and submissions

If you send us feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, you agree that we can use them to improve our apps and website without any obligation to you.

5. Intellectual property

Our apps, website, logos, and content are owned by LuxSoft or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that ownership to you.

6. No warranty

Our apps and website are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. As an early-stage studio, we don't guarantee our apps or website will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LuxSoft is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our apps or website. Our total liability for any claim relating to our apps or website is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue any app or part of our website at any time. You can stop using our apps or website at any time.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as LuxSoft and its apps evolve. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of our apps or website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
