Sharp puts a single line of motivation on your Lock Screen and changes it every morning. That is the entire app — there is nothing to check, nothing to configure and nothing to keep up with. If the widget is not showing up, the answer is almost certainly on this page.

This is the whole setup, and it takes about twenty seconds.
Sharp offers three shapes. The rectangular one is the app — it is the only shape with room for a sentence. The inline one sits above the clock and shows a short line. The circular one is just the Sharp mark, useful for filling a leftover slot.
Open the Sharp app once and then try again. iOS only offers an app’s widgets after the app has been launched at least once. If it is still missing, restart your iPhone — this clears a widget cache iOS occasionally gets stuck on.
Sharp changes the line at midnight, on your device’s local time. If you are checking just after midnight, give it a few minutes — iOS decides when to redraw a widget and does not always do it on the second. If it is still showing yesterday’s line hours later, open the Sharp app once; that pushes a fresh year of days to the widget.
No. Every line is inside the app, and a full year of upcoming days is queued on your device the first time you open it. Sharp works in aeroplane mode, on a plane, and on an iPhone that never connects to anything again.
No. There is no background process, no network activity and no location use. The widget is redrawn once a day by iOS itself.
Not in this version. Sharp is deliberately a one-decision app. If enough people ask, tell us at the address above — that is how it gets built.
Some were written for Sharp. Others are lines picked by hand from books, films and conversations, and each one is checked before it goes in. The widget shows the line on its own, with no name under it, so your Lock Screen stays one short sentence.
They are shown in an order that uses every one of them before repeating any, so a line you saw today will not come back until you have seen all the others. More are added with updates.
That is correct, and it is intentional. The line on your Lock Screen is the product. The app exists to install the widget and then get out of your way.
