Sharp collects nothing. It has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. It never makes a network request — it has no server to reach and never contacts one, so there is nowhere for your information to go.
Sharp shows one line on your Lock Screen and replaces it with a different one every day. Every line is built into the app itself when you download it. Choosing the day’s line is arithmetic performed on your device using your device’s calendar date. Nothing is fetched, requested or reported.

For the Lock Screen widget to change the line each morning without the app running, Sharp writes a year of upcoming days into a shared container that iOS provides for an app and its widget (an “App Group”). That container holds nothing but dates and the lines that were already in the app. It never leaves your device, it is not readable by other apps, and iOS deletes it when you delete Sharp.
You buy Sharp from the App Store, and that purchase is a transaction between you and Apple. Apple handles the payment and tells us nothing about you individually — we can see aggregate sales figures and nothing else. If you have turned on “Share With App Developers” in your iOS privacy settings, Apple may pass us anonymised crash reports; that channel belongs to Apple and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can switch it off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Sharp is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, children included.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR, the CCPA and Canada’s PIPEDA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal information a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete. Removing Sharp from your device removes everything it ever stored.
Sharp is made by Mohammad Rafi Zahedi, who publishes it under the name Luxsoft, in British Columbia, Canada. That is the person responsible for this app and for this policy, reachable at support@luxsoft.dev. Because no personal information is collected, there is no data controller relationship to register and no privacy officer to route a request to — but the address above is read, and a question about this page will be answered.
If a future version of Sharp ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version ships and the change will be described plainly here rather than buried. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
