The short version

Code Flow is a puzzle game. There is no account, no subscription and nothing to buy inside the app. Play it on your own devices for as long as you like. It teaches real ideas with simplified numbers, so treat it as a game and not as engineering advice.

1. The agreement

Your licence to use Code Flow comes from Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, which covers every app on the App Store and governs your download. This page sits alongside it. It says in plain words what Code Flow is and what we promise as its maker. We are Mohammad Rafi Zahedi, who publishes Code Flow under the name Luxsoft, in British Columbia, Canada (“we”, “us”). Where anything here differs from Apple’s agreement, the term that is better for you applies, and nothing here takes away a right that agreement or the law gives you.

2. What you get

A licence to play Code Flow on the devices signed in to your Apple Account, under the App Store’s usual rules. Code Flow needs no account and no internet connection to play, and your progress lives on your device.

3. What you may not do

4. Your feedback

If you send us feedback, you let us use it to improve Code Flow and to build what comes next, without owing you anything for it. You keep any rights you have in what you wrote. Please leave personal details out of it. The Privacy Policy says what happens to it.

5. A game, not advice

Code Flow simulates software systems in a simplified way. The ideas are real, and the numbers are the game’s own. Do not use them to size, price or run a real system.

6. Changes and availability

We may update Code Flow, change or add puzzles, or stop offering it. An update can change how a puzzle you already solved plays. The feedback service may change or stop, and the game keeps working without it.

7. Refunds

Apple handles every App Store purchase. If you paid for Code Flow, ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. Nothing here limits a refund or remedy the law gives you.

8. Warranty and liability

Code Flow is provided as it is, without any warranty beyond those the law does not let us exclude. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for anything to do with Code Flow is limited to the greater of what you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim and CAD $100.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights. Many places give consumers guarantees that no contract can take away, British Columbia among them, under its Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act. Where that is so, those rights win over anything written here.

9. Apple’s role

Code Flow is distributed through the App Store, and Apple’s standard terms set out how that works. To be clear:

10. Governing law

The laws of British Columbia, and the laws of Canada that apply there, govern these terms. Disputes may go to the courts of British Columbia. You keep every right to bring a claim in your own local courts, in a small claims court, or to a consumer protection authority where you live.
